I stepped right into Bruce trap [1] and tested all possible examples. The result is this series. 1: https://patchwork.dpdk.org/patch/82361/

I'll see about doing more cleanup on the skipped list, particularly how we install the examples in the "share" folder, but until then this is great progress.
