To make UPT work vmxnet3 has\nto be enhanced as per the new specification. This patch series\nextends the vmxnet3 driver to leverage these new features.\n\nCompatibility is maintained using existing vmxnet3 versioning mechanism as\nfollows:\n- new features added to vmxnet3 emulation are associated with new vmxnet3\n version viz. vmxnet3 version 7.\n- emulation advertises all the versions it supports to the driver.\n- during initialization, vmxnet3 driver picks the highest version number\nsupported by both the emulation and the driver and configures emulation\nto run at that version.\n\nIn particular, following changes are introduced:\n\nPatch 1:\n This patch introduces utility macros for vmxnet3 version 7 comparison\n and updates Copyright information.\n\nPatch 2:\n This patch adds new capability registers to fine control enablement of\n individual features based on emulation and passthrough.\n\nPatch 3:\n This patch adds support for large passthrough BAR register.\n\nPatch 4:\n This patch introduces new command to set ring buffer sizes to pass this\n information to the hardware.\n\nPatch 5:\n For better performance, hardware has a requirement to limit number of TSO\n descriptors.
